I’ve used ThinLenses consistently since my prescription became too complex for the online service I had used for years. I have a strong prescription, and now need varifocals. I have had five or six pairs of glasses and sunglasses lensed at ThinLenses now, and Ash and his team have gone above and beyond expectations every time, helping find solutions to get the prescription I need in a variety of vintage frames.

Recently, I tried using a cheaper service offered by a major high street retailer for a pair of sunglasses that weren’t for everyday use. The lenses they returned to me were incorrect and unwearable, and despite swearing they’d made them to my prescription, they were unusable. I sent them to Ash, who confirmed that the mainstream brand had made errors and cut corners. He was able, as usual, to send me a perfect set of lenses made to the same prescription.

Lesson learned, you get what you pay for. Particularly if you have complex requirements, ThinLenses are incredible. Quick turnaround, personal service, perfect product, every time.

Astonishingly great. The best customer service I’ve ever experienced, speedy and well packaged delivery & most importantly perfect lenses. This was my first experience of ordering anything optical online, and with a prescription in the high numbers (over -13), it felt like a bit of a risk. With the price difference though, compared to a high street optician, I thought it was worth it & i’m completely satisfied that I made the right choice. I used the reglazing service and opted for the 1.9 index glass lenses. The vision is perfect & aesthetically they’re so much more subtle than the thick plastic lenses I’ve previously been recommended. Many thanks Ash for your instant replies and help.

I’m really happy with my decision to order my new glasses from ThinLenses. The frames are lovely and by selecting the 1.9 glass high index option, they look so much nicer than any of the glasses I have worn in the past. I’ve received so many compliments already!
