    Glass lenses are available in the following indexes, remember the higher the index the thinner your lenses will be:

    • Glass 1.5: These are standard lenses that are not high index, however they are still typically 10% thinner than standard plastic lenses.
    • High Index Glass 1.7: Typically 1.7 lenses are 30% thinner than standard 1.5 glass lenses.
    • High Index Glass 1.8: Typically 1.8 lenses are 42% thinner than standard 1.5 glass lenses.
    • High Index Plastic 1.9: This is the thinnest glass lens available on the market today. Typically 55% thinner than standard 1.5 glass lenses, this is the ultimate thin glass lens.
    • High Index Plastic 1.9: This is the thinnest glass lens available on the market today. Typically 55% thinner than standard 1.5 glass lenses, this is the ultimate thin glass lens.
